I am glad that February is finally here, this means we only have a few more months until Ellie gets here!!! We are both very excited and ready for her arrival. I have tried my best not to buy her any clothes but of course I have not succeeded in that area. It's really hard to pass up cute clothes that are on clearance. I have been buying mainly stuff for later because that is what is on sale right now. However, I have also bought some newborn stuff. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find newborn clothes? She's going to be dressed so cute!!! My shower is in less than two weeks and I am very excited. I'll get to see all of my friends in Birmingham :-)
I have been packing more stuff around the house. I'm trying to get ready to move but some of the stuff can't be packed because we are using it. I think we mainly have only big stuff to pack.
Stephen is in Vegas all week and I am lonely. Luckily he will be home in two days. I don't like being home alone. I've tried to stay busy but of course today I broke down and went shopping. However, I am happy to say that I got a bunch of stuff for not much money. I had a couple of gift certificates for DSW so I got myself two pairs of shoes for only $12!!! Everything else was for Ellie of course. Tomorrow I have open house so that will make the day go by fast; although I HATE open house.
Well, y'all have a great day!

I'm feeling much better
25 weeks and 6 days.I am glad to say that my back is feeling so much better. I have very little pain now. I am still taking it easy but hopefully I will be fully recovered by next week. The weather down here is absolutely wonderful so I went and enjoyed a pedicure this afternoon after school. The place that I like to go to always has the door open when it's nice outside so it's like being outside :-)
So Stephen is going to Vegas for a whole week next week. I don't know if I mentioned it already but he won the trip with work. They take the top 100 sales people in the nation on a trip every year and this year Stephen made the cut!! They normally go on a cruise but for some reason they decided to go to Vegas this year. I decided not to go because there isn't really anything for me to do by myself (other than shop but I don't really need to be doing that). Not to mention we were just there at the end of December. So, Stephen is taking his friend Burton, which I think will be really nice because they can play poker together and stuff :-) They are staying at the Bellagio, one of the nicest hotels in Vegas. So anyways, I'll be here, working and taking care of the dogs. Stephen normally does everything for the dogs so this will be a change.
Oh, and I cut my finger REALLY bad the other day while I was cutting Pineapple. It is really deep and it hurts.
I am proud to say that I have still maintained the 10 pound weight gain. I haven't gained any weight in the past two weeks and I personally think this is a good thin :-) I took a picture of my belly today while I was sitting at my desk so I'll post it here. My belly looks so much bigger when I am sitting down!

It's almost Friday
....and I am so glad! I've been taking the pain medication as necessary and am actually starting to get better. I managed to only take one pill today and it is already 6:30pm. I might have to take one in the middle of the night just to sleep though. I can't sleep anymore because of having to pee a million times a night and now the constant pain in my back...
Classes are going well. I probably only know 3 of the new students by name but give me a couple of weeks and I'll have it down pat :-)
3 months and 13 days until Ellie's due date- it can't get here soon enough, SERIOUSLY! So anyways, I'm off to lay on the sofa.

Some relief
The doctor prescribed me a pain medication today so I am feeling a little bit of relief. I took a pill at 12:45 and can take one every 6 hours. I hate to take anything but the pain is unbearable! I came home from work early again today but tomorrow I have to stay for the whole day because we will have students, AAARRRGGGHHHHH! So anyways...
Oh, the blanket for Ellie's crib came yesterday :-) It is so tiny but it is cute. VERY excited!!

My poor back

I have pulled a muscle in my back and it is miserable. I can barely walk and am having a hard time sleeping. For the last three days I have been trying to lay around as much as possible, being completely lazy. I tried to vacuum yesterday and was only able to do half the house and had to sit back down. I keep heating up a rag and putting it on my back and that seems to help a lot. I am really hoping that I feel better by Wednesday because I have a new set of students coming in and I have to have on my game face so that they know who is boss :-) I went to the doctor last week, twice actually, and had an ultrasound. I could see Ellie sucking her thumb and it was the coolest thing ever. At this point I am obsessed with pulling up my shirt and watching my belly. You can actually see her moving around and it is AMAZING. My stomach now has a mind of its own and moves according to Ellie's mood. She is a very active baby, I will tell you that. It seems as if she is on the move all the time. We are still trying to decide on a second name for her but have not been successful.
We registered at Babies R Us this week and that was interesting. I pretty much scanned everything, I think. It's amazing how much stuff we are going to need. There are so many different options for everything!! I almost wish there was only one choice instead of a million.
Stephen is doing good, working and playing play station. He spent the day at Universal with a bunch of friends this past Monday and had fun. I was at work doing exam reviews, YUCK!!
Mom and Bubba are back in Africa. She will come back when Ellie is born and stay with us for a month (I think). I can't believe that I am already 24 1/2 weeks pregnant. This whole experience is going by really fast...
Well, that is all for now; I'll post new pictures soon.

Christmas is over

22 weeks
We had a wonderful Christmas vacation. We traveled lots and are glad to be back home. We went to Vegas with mom and had a lot of fun. Stephen actually ended up winning about $400 overall so it was really like a free trip :-) Now I have just a few days to relax and then it is back to work...
My belly is growing like crazy and she is moving around all the time. Stephen said he thought he could feel her yesterday. We are still trying to decide on a second name for the baby. Elizabeth is all we have so far. I've been calling her Ellie, I think it's cute.
Well, no new news really. I'm just worn out and ready to relax. I'll post again later :-)
